莱顿大学 (www.leidenuniv.nl)座落在荷兰的莱顿市，是目前荷兰持续运作中最古老的大学。莱顿大学是科英布拉集团、Europaeum以及欧洲研究型大学联盟等大学联盟的一员。现今莱顿大学拥有9个学院、超过50个系以及150个以上的(系)所。并且有超过40个国家级或国际级研究机构在本校设立。
在2023泰晤士世界大学排行榜上，莱顿大学名列第77位；在2023QS世界大学排行榜中，位列于131名；在软科2022年世界大学学术排名中，莱顿大学居第101-150名；2022USNEWS世界大学世界排行榜上位于第82名。
